Quick Update(:

Journal Entry: Thu Sep 1, 2011, 10:38 AM

September!

Hey guys! Happy September first! (: I hope everyone had a good August. I'm looking forward to September, I really want it to cool down here so I can actually go do some stuff outside! XD Hopefully that will mean some Photoshoots ;) Let us cross our fingers it cools down, at least by the end of the month!

Saboten-Con

Officially one month (or less??) away now! (: I'm actually really excited! Still need to get a ticket and book a hotel room, but other than that, I'm pretty read for the convention! I've kicked ass the last week on my costumes and the only things left are very minor things that I can probably finish in one night. So I've got plenty of time now to chill, and focus on school and not stress over my costumes.

I may possibly be entering the Masquerade at Saboten, not too sure yet, but if it is going to happen ill let everyone know so you can come and support me ;) I'd really appreciate it!

Thank you everyone for 10k views :D It means so much to me!~ So thank you very much, Ill try to keep up y best work for those who watch me! I'm sorry for the lack of updates as of recent, ill do my best to have some work up soon!

Bought my Taiyou Con tickets yesterday (: Already preparing for the next con, and I haven't even got through the three I have in October xD Also, my plans may have shifted for the summer a bit, so there is a possibility of actually getting to go to Phoenix Comicon 2012 and Anime Expo 2012 :D So I'm pretty damn excited about that right now (:

Be sure to add my Facebook page, I'll have a lot of updates on there soon because of Saboten-Con, many of the updates wont be up on here for a bit probably. So if you'd like to see what I'm up to at cons, or how my cosplays are going, head over there and add my page! Thank you! (:

You get to go to sooo many cons...I wish there were more around here that I could go to...but they are very limited unless I want to do quite a bit of traveling and spending on hotels...that I don't have the money for... >.> Michigan sucks.........

Seems like it lately xD All the sudden there are so many to go to, I can't even keep up with it! I'd love to travel, I prefer the cons in California. But, I feel like I have to be here for the AZ cons when they happen, so I never get the chance!

I'm sorry, maybe traveling everyone once in a while? Or get some friends to split the hotel cost? I usually try to find a hotel that is right near the con, but not the con hotel, ususally A LOT cheeper (and more quiet ;) )

Yeah, the only problem is that even the closest ones are almost 3 hours away, so hotel costs add up fast, even when you have a bunch of people to split costs with. It kinda sucks... ^_^;; Tho one I'm going to in March is right around the corner from my friend's house, so I'll prolly be staying there. That'll make things super cheap, and I'm gonna be in the AA there, so I'll be able to make some money, which will be cool. I always go for near-con hotels, but so far I've only been to one that actually HAD a hotel...haha The one I've been to most is on a college campus. One of the few free cons left in the country, or so I'm told.

Damn, pretty far :/ that sucks, I'm sorry, I definitely understand then.

Oh well thats great that you can stay at a friends house for that one in March!

We have one like once a year that is on my colleges campus, Im never sure when it actually is though xD Plus we have a Japanese festival in February. But that's it for free con-like things here. It's gotten pretty expensive over the last few years. Con ticket prices have gone up A LOT.

Yeah...I wish there were more that were closer. We have a couple larger cities nearby (within 1/2 hour to 1 hour away), but there aren't any cons there. They're only in the REALLY big cities, which are all farther away. Guess that what I get for living to far north...XD I also found another one that's new (so I dunno how good it's gonna be), but that one's close by and it's free. Hopefully it manages to go well and get bigger.

You should definitely try to go to the con at your college!! I keep missing out on tons because I don't know when they are (aside from the lack of money thing). I guess I'm kinda lucky to have one of the few free cons left not TOO far away, cuz I totally agree with you...con ticket prices have gone up a TON. It's kinda crazy. I find new ones I want to go to, but then it's hard cuz they're so expensive...hopefully I'll get to go to PCC again sometime tho. I have some family and friends down in the Pheonix area that I'd love to visit, so it's not impossible. ^-^

You should definitely do the Sabo masq! I'm only going for a day, but I'll definitely be watching the masquerade!

I'm so nervous though, which is the main reason i've never entered one.
